+++ Timekeeping with ChampionChip® +++
The Runtalya 2009 will be carried out with the ChampionChip® timekeeping system from MIKA Timing on a net running basis. Each runner will get a single use chip together with the starting documents. Runner's own Champion-Chips can not be used.

Women start for free! ÖGER bears the starting fee for all women on the International Women's Day.

+++ New starting area +++
All races will start in front of the Antalya Museum at the Konyaalti Caddesi. From here you will have a magnificent view over the Taurus Mountains and their snow-covered mountain tops.

+++ Modified Marathon Course +++
Correspondingly to the new starting area the turning points have also automatically moved backwards. There will be a new course section at km 13. Instead of running along the main road, all marathon runners will turn right towards the Sera Hotel and then take the left road in order to run along the coast for 2,5 kilometres.
